I don’t know what the fragrance it’s modeled after so I can’t comment about that but to me it reminds me of the very old perfume Casmir and my son thought it was a lighter scent than Joop. For the price, I gave it a try and let me tell you this... it smells just like my $500 Aventus, it performs as great as the original one, longevity 4+ hours and counting on my skin.
